Working Materials
Fibrous plaster and glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) share a number of common characteristics:
- Can produce very high quality finished surfaces, with seamless jointing
- Very versatile and flexible with respect to design intent achievable
- Inherently non-combustible, with a Class 0 rating for surface spread of flame
- Mouldings are dimensionally stable and will not sag or warp
Resistant to humidity, neither will support the growth of bacteria or other micro organisms
- No deterioration over time under normal conditions
- Easily worked on site, with no health hazards presented
- The plaster surface will accept most oil or water–based paints or, alternatively, pigmentation may be cast-in
Detailed performance specifications for fibrous plaster and GRG are available on request.
